animated stereogram
Mid-'90s flashback time: stereograms. Did you know they make these in the animated variety as well? (Warning for you dialup folks: the image is 3.3 MB.) I used to be able to see these things a lot more quickly when I was younger.

[insert mallrats reference here]
I might need a little help here... I've only seen the very ending of Mallrats.
I think what she's going for is, "Ha ha ha ha. You dumb bastard. It's not a schooner... it's a Sailboat."
Also, I was expecting something like a shark attack out of that animation. Sorely disappointed here.
dude, I still can't see those things. Is it because I wear glasses (I doubt it)? F. Bryan, you finally have found my weakness, these things piss me off.
They piss off Justin too. I've always had glasses and have been able to see them. There is a certain trick to it, though, and it's hard to describe. You have to "relax" your eyes, as if you're staring through a window, so the focus changes. But it has to be the *right* wrong focus for it to work. :)
I can't see them anymore, but I was able to as a kid.
Hi Bryan Bird! And Schutze!
It's a Darrow Hall reunion on my blog!
Except that I never lived in Darrow. I was Honors Program leftovers - two years in Compton (east side!) and two years in Anderson.
I've never been able to see these things. I saw ONE, ONCE. I've been told it's because I have an astigmatism; you have to be able to keep your eyes from re-focusing on their own, which I can't. Bah. or F. Whichever you prefer. =^)
now you can see my dog, i think. in "threeee DEEEEEE". or not
and by the way, after 20 minutes of crossing my eyes slightly, I finally saw the wagging shark. and got a headache.
